Until Later.

Until I have enough time to write yet another chapter in my so-called life, here is my response to CoffeeCat's recent blog post about people who are obsessed with having a significant other in their lives:

I basically agree, CoffeeCat. However, the only thing I want to say is that I feel there is a fundamental human need for others in their lives--that we need someone to help us achieve our goals. No man or woman is an end in itself, neither is a relationship. I feel that humans have dreams and aspirations other than meeting a person. But, like I imply in my last blogpost, I feel that some of us (not all) have this yearning for a soulmate, a person who does not appear out of nowhere and aims to solve all of our ills (real, imagined, or faked), but rather, who will be a companion with us as we explore the entirety of the world and make it ours.Someone who will act as the catalyst to our dreams and desires. Someone other than and outside ourselves, but somehow inherently linked. We can carry on alone, trudging along through life, but wouldn't it feel great to know that someone out there has the same itinerary as you? :)
